I’m always the biggest fan of collection showings, it’s like getting that exclusive sneak peak of items that designers have been working so hard on for the past few months. I’m also a big fan of Australian designers. I think my country pride will play some bias into that but most of my favourite designers happen to be true blue Aussie! The Locale Group recently had me in to preview their upcoming Spring/Summer collections from La Maison Talulah, Stevie May and ISLA. The next season focuses on intricate detailing, embroidery and a lot of fabric play with neutral colours. They were more than happy for me to take a few snaps so I can’t wait to show you guys which pieces were my favourite! Apologies in advanced because silly me forgot to bring her camera so all these photos were taken on Iphone 6.

My eyes were immediately drawn to this cute polka dot mini! I love the use of different material so the polka dots dance in the light and the sheer lining gives this dress a flirty feel thats perfect for a summer date night.

This dress reminds me of Southern Spain where everyone is just flamenco dancing in the streets. The cut and length are absolutely gorgeous and the level of detail in the embroidery had me swooning from across the room. Also I love the V cut of the dress that adds a little dimension and shape.

For everyone that has been following me since I started blogging, you should know that blush pink is one of my favourite colours of all time. I pretty much fall for anything in that colour category and have many many blush items in my closet. This little blush dress from Stevie May was definitely my favourite pick for the night. From the cute ruffled sleeves, to the floral patterned design, everything about this piece speaks Spring to Summer! I especially love the side tie waistbands for structure and the gathered bottom – wishlisting for sure ♥
