Over the weekend, Shad and I decided to treat ourselves with a little getaway to Sofitel in Darling Harbour. Being a fairly new hotel, it offers amazing views over the city with contemporary rooms and even an infinity pool! We checked into the luxury king room with harbour views and was blown away by the sleek design. The bedroom is separated from the bathroom through a ceiling to floor sliding window, and even though the bathroom takes up almost half of the room itself, it’s well worth it as there is a spacious tub for those bubble baths with views of Sydney’s amazing harbour and skyline (including our very famous centre point tower!). What I loved most about this room is that you can draw the curtains back in ENTIRE hotel bathroom, leaving nothing but natural light and making our hotel room seem like a New York penthouse.
I must say I enjoyed taking the longest bubble bath ever whilst admiring my city ahead of me, but we also took the time out to have an afternoon dip by their pool. Again, you are immediately greeted by sprawling views of the city, and it’s especially beautiful to watch the sunset whilst floating away, and you can even watch the buildings as they turn on their lights. Because we were visiting for a special occasion, we went back into our rooms and found that the lovely staff had left us a personalised coffee cake treat with a bottle of champagne to enjoy! It’s little touches like these that truly make you remember your stay at a hotel. We left the hotel feeling not only refreshed and relaxed, but knowing we’ll be welcome back again with open arms the next time we decide to take another stay-cation! Au revoir and merci to you, Sofitel Darling Harbour!

Sounds like you had an amazing time, and the view is stunning! Putting this on my go to list for sure, thanks for sharing girl!
