Happy September everyone! Spring has finally come upon us, and I’m so glad because this is actually my favourite season. It’s the time where flowers bloom and the sun is bright, you can hardly spot a fault in the weather (except for the occasional fly or two).

There has been a recent trend in blazer/skirt sets. Everyone from bloggers to supermodels are seen wearing these matching pieces because they’re so easy to style and always look glamorous, even when you’re not trying! One of my fave bloggers, Miss Gunner, is always seen sporting a blazer and skirt combo. I’m always envious of how effortlessly chic she looks, even when paired with sneakers. I decided to find my very own combo and had my eyes on this Pink Plaid blazer and skirt from Topshop. I love how the colours scream for attention and it feels like a great item to own for Spring. Because the pink stands out enough on its own, I decided to go with a white t-shirt – nothing too fancy because I didn’t want to take away from the plaid blazer and skirt. I also wore a muted pink bucket bag, which blends in nicely because of the colour and again, isn’t anything too flashy.

To be honest, this outfit isn’t something I would normally go for, but I’ve been experimenting with a lot of colours and patterns lately! I found that this brings back so many memories of watching Clueless, where I used to be soooo obsessed with Cher and her sense of style.
